Neil Young is a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter who has released more than 50 albums over an almost 50-year career. His earliest success came with the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield in 1966. Young established himself as a solo artist with 1969's Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere, which featured the hits "Cinnamon Girl," "Down by the River" and "Cowgirl in the Sand." In 1970, Young joined Crosby, Stills & Nash, and the quartet released Déjà Vu to much acclaim. Over the course of his career, Young has recorded albums in multiple genres, including rock, folk and country. His most recent, Storytone, was released in 2014. Young was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
