Neil deGrasse Tyson is an astrophysicist, an author and a radio and TV host. He graduated from Harvard University with a BA in Physics and from Columbia University with a PhD in astrophysics. He's been appointed to two aerospace commissions by President Bush, as well as served on the advisory council for NASA.

Tyson is also a New York Times best-selling author, having published 12 books, and currently serves as the the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Fans will know him best as the host of the FOX documentary series Cosmos – A Spacetime Odyssey.
