Monty Python is a British comedy troupe comprised of John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin and the late Graham Chapman. They created the sketch comedy show Monty Python's Flying Circus, which aired on the BBC between 1969 and 1974. They also starred in the films Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Life of Brian and Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. The group will reunite at the Tribeca Film Festival to mark the 40th anniversary of Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
