Michael Che is an Emmy-nominated comedian, writer and co-anchor of Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update segment. He also serves as one of the show's head writers. Prior to joining SNL, Che was a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His first hour-long comedy special, Michael Che Matters, premiered on Netflix in 2016. In 2018, Che hosted the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards with Colin Jost, and later teamed up with Jost for an episode of WWE Raw. Che also stars on the HBO Max comedy series titled That Damn Michael Che, which released its second season in May 2022. His next project is Sean Patton: Number One; Che executive produced the special, which was released on Peacock in December 2022.
