Julia Roberts is the Oscar-winning star of films such as Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich and Eat Pray Love. She broke onto the scene in a big way with 1989's Steel Magnolias and 1990's Pretty Woman, both of which earned her Oscar nominations. Roberts cemented herself as America's Sweetheart with starring roles in 1997's My Best Friend's Wedding and 1999's Notting Hill and Runaway Bride. The next year, she portrayed real-life lawyer Erin Brockovich in the film of the same name and won an Oscar for Best Actress. She scored her fourth Oscar nomination with 2013's August: Osage County. Roberts was nominated for an Emmy for her role in the HBO TV movie The Normal Heart. She also starred in the series Homecoming on Prime Video and Gaslit on Starz. Roberts can next be seen starring in the film Leave the World Behind, which releases on Netflix in December 2023.
