Judd Apatow is an Emmy-winning writer, producer and director who developed the series Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Girls, Love and Crashing. He has directed the films The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, This Is 40 and Trainwreck, and produced Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Superbad, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers, Pineapple Express, Bridesmaids and The Big Sick. Apatow's first book, Sick in the Head: Conversations About Life and Comedy, was published in 2015. Apatow recently directed the film The King of Staten Island. The story follows a young man (Pete Davidson) through his life in Staten Island. It is set to be released in June 2020.
