Issa Rae is a Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated star, writer and producer best known for her HBO series, Insecure. She previously created and starred on the web series Awkward Black Girl and published her book, The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl, in 2015. She has also appeared in the HBO show A Black Lady Sketch Show and starred in the films Little, The Photograph, The Lovebirds, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Barbie. Season 2 of her Max series, Rap Sh!t, is set to be released in November 2023. Rae also recently launched a prosecco line, Viarae.
