Carol Burnett is an actress, comedian, writer and singer best known for the long-running variety series The Carol Burnett Show, which aired on CBS from 1967 to 1978. Over the course of her career, Burnett has won five Emmy Awards, most recently in 1997 for guest starring on Mad About You. She made a name for herself early on on The Gary Moore Show and by appearing on Broadway in shows like Once Upon a Mattress. Her later roles include 6 Rms Riv Vu, Friendly Fire, The Wedding, Annie and guest appearances on Desperate Housewives, All My Children and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Burnett returned to Broadway in Love Letters. On September 16 and 17, Burnett takes the stage at the Beacon Theatre for An Evening of Laughter & Reflection.
