Carl Reiner is an Emmy- and Grammy Award-winning comedian, actor, producer, director and writer. Beginning in 1960, he and Mel Brooks performed as a comedy duo on The Steve Allen Show and eventually released five comedy albums featuring their signature skit, the 2000 Year Old Man. In 1961, Reiner created The Dick Van Dyke Show, for which he served as writer, producer and occasional star. During the 1970s, Reiner partnered with Steve Martin, co-writing and/or directing some of the actor's most successful films, including 1979's The Jerk. As an actor, Reiner most recently played Saul Bloom in the Ocean's Eleven films and guest starred on the series Hot in Cleveland.
