Céline Dion

Musician

Céline Dion is a Grammy Award-winning, French-Canadian singer who gained international recognition after winning the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival and the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. Her debut English-language album, Unison, was released in 1990, followed by the even more successful Céline Dion in 1992 and The Colour of My Love in 1993. Dion scored back-to-back No. 1 albums with 1996's Falling into You and 1997's Let's Talk About Love, which featured the Oscar-winning Titanic theme "My Heart Will Go On." Following the release of 1998's These Are Special Times, she retreated from the spotlight to spend time with her family, returning in 2002 with A New Day Has Come, her third No. 1 album. Dion's first Las Vegas residency show, A New Day, ran from 2003 to 2007. She kicked off her second and current residency, Céline, in 2011. More recently, Dion has been on tour and just released additional dates for the Courage World Tour. In addition, Dion has recently released a new EP that includes the songs “Imperfections,” “Lying Down” and “Courage.”
