Body Count is a heavy metal band fronted by rapper Ice-T and featuring guitarist Ernie C. The group's self-titled debut album was released in 1992 and immediately courted controversy with the single "Cop Killer." Body Count released two more albums, 1994's Born Dead and 1997's Violent Demise: The Last Days, before taking a break following the death of three original members. The group members reunited in 2006 for the album Murder 4 Hire. Most recently, they released their seventh album, Carnivore, in March 2020. They will be going on tour starting March 2020.
