Amy Sedaris is a writer and actress who got her career start on the Comedy Central sketch show Exit 57, where she met Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert, with whom she created Strangers with Candy. Sedaris has appeared on numerous TV shows, including Sex and the City, Rescue Me and Broad City, and starred in the films School of Rock, Elf, Shrek the Third and Chef. She has also authored two books, I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence and Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People. Sedaris currently stars on At Home with Amy Sedaris.
