Miguel a.k.a. Mickey is Richard’s personal assistant and best friend. He has been by Richard’s side for more than 25 years and is always on call to meet the Rev’s needs, no matter how ridiculous they may be. Although Miguel often finds himself being the fall-guy for anything that goes awry at the church, in choir rehearsals and during concert performances, he somehow always pulls everything together.
