[Warning: Spoilers ahead for Temptation Island Episode 6!]
There's no denying that Temptation Island casanova Evan Smith has extreme physical chemistry with single lady Morgan Lolar. In fact, their intense canoodling over the last couple of weeks finally culminated into a sexual encounter in Episode 6. While the pair has faced social media backlash, Evan wants people to know that there was more to his draw to Morgan than what you see on the show. To talk about the behind-the-scenes happenings, Evan chatted with Steve Carbone on the Reality Steve Podcast, discussing fun facts you might not have known (for instance, he and Brittney went to rival high schools and, once, he took an airplane on which Jeffri was a flight attendant). He also detailed the hours and hours of conversation with Morgan that never made it to air, explaining that there wasn't much to do on the island but talk.
“We talked about everything," Evan said on the podcast. "I talked about my father and my tragedy. I talked about my brothers. She talked about her family and her upbringing and how she moved around a little bit, how she grew up in Arizona and cheered in Alabama... Stories about growing up. She’s got two siblings; I got two younger brothers."
Evan recalled a remark made by host Mark L. Walberg in the first episode, about how finding a mate can be like catching lightning in a bottle. "You never know when it’s going to happen," Evan shared, "and I was drawn into Morgan and it was so strong -- the gravity -- and I was just being pulled toward her. Basically, up until [this past episode], I spent every single minute with that girl. It’s not fun to see those conversations [on TV]; it’s more fun to see our physical attraction. And our sexual chemistry, obviously, is there -- but we clicked on every single level."
Listen to the full interview -- as well as a separate interview with Kaci Campbell -- on the Reality Steve podcast, streaming on Stitcher, iTunes, and Spotify. And see if Evan has a message for Kaci in this week's episode of Temptation Island, Tuesday night at 10/9c on USA!
