For years, Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) had been lost in Paralegal limbo, stuck watching less gifted minds surpass her while she was left to do their research. But after years of being held back by poor test scores, Rachel found the nerve to take the LSATS one more time, and – with the encouragement of Mike – finally aced them.
And speaking of Mike, though Rachel was put off by his apparent cluelessness at first, she quickly came to realize that his prodigious mind made him more than just another Harvard Law clone. Mutual appreciation soon turned to mutual attraction, and though the young couple has had their ups and downs, Rachel’s recent choice to go to law school in New York has opened the door for them to build a life together.
