John Pyper-Ferguson, who plays the complicated Suits adversary Jack Soloff, is about to take on another USA Network series in a very different role.
When Queen of the South season two premieres on Jun. 8, Pyper-Ferguson will appear as DEA agent Garret Finnerman. Not exactly the finely tailored look of Mr. Soloff -- a role Pyper-Ferguson inhabited from 2015 to 2016 -- but fans of TNT's The Last Ship have already seen the actor's more rugged side, as exhibited by his turn as Tex Nolan.
Queen of the South, based on the internationally bestselling novel La Reina del Sur by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, follows the rise of one woman (Alice Braga, City of God) from a poor money-changer on the streets of Sinaloa, Mexico, to one of the most powerful drug lords in the world.
