Try to think of an office without coffee to get through the day: it’s impossible. And on Suits, this is no exception. We’re positive that the lawyers of Pearson Spector Litt would be celebrating National Coffee Day — from hitting up their favorite coffee cart, to enjoying their caffeine fix on the sweet side like Donna. Learn the unofficial rules for enjoying coffee at work from the Suits crew:
1. Find the closest coffee to you:
Sometimes the best way to get your caffeine fix is at the no-frills coffee cart right outside your office.
2. Learn your co-workers’ coffee orders:
Donna has to explain her preferences to Mike after he started at the firm, proving that how you take your daily brew is deeply personal — and sometimes people may judge you for your sweet tooth.
3. Share the coffee wealth:
Take a cue from Louis Litt’s playbook and give your colleagues their own coffee mugs to make it easier for them to get their java, and think of you in the process. (We won’t judge if you use that mug for tea!)
4. Apologize with caffeine:
If you screw something up with your coworker, don’t sweat it. Learn from Harvey that sometimes the easiest way to say you’re sorry is with some “Apology Coffee”
5. Have a custom coffee order for every situation:
If we've learned anything from Donna, it's that a coffee routine is boring. Mix it up! That, and have someone bring the coffee to you.
