Lauren Holt joins "Saturday Night Live" for her first season.  Holt is an actor, comedian, singer and improviser. Holt was a house performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in Los Angeles, starting her time there as a member of the UCB musical improv troupe, the Pickup, and continuing on Characters Welcome and the Maude team, the Audacity. She starred in the independent web series "The Filth" and in the short film "Parent Teacher Conference," for which she received a Best Actress nomination at the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival.  Holt is from Charlotte, North Carolina, and her birthday is March 12.
