Well, it's official. If you weren't already planning to clear your Thursday nights for USA Network's new series Queen of the South, we're about to give you another reason and his name is Peter Gadiot.
Starring alongside Alice Braga in the new narcos drama based on the bestselling novel by Arturo Pérez-Riverte, the British actor made his American television debut in 2013 as Cyrus in Once Upon a Time. As James in Queen of the South, Gadiot plays a high-ranking lieutenant in a Texas-based cartel. He doesn't enjoy the violent aspect of his job, but he's committed to the business and showing Teresa Mendoza (Braga) how to navigate her part of the drug trade.
To acquaint you with our new leading man, we've thoroughly investigated his Instagram account and thought that these seven photos would serve as a fine introduction.
Check him out in the first shots of him as James.
Before 'Queen,' Peter appeared in 'Tut.'
He has also done some modeling.
Peter seems to enjoy riding horses...
And, um, yeah....NEXT!
And tickling the ivories whilst in a cravat (which we assume was for a role?)
We can't wait to see what else Peter does when Queen of the South airs on USA Network, starting Thursday, June 23, at 10/9c! Be sure to follow him on Instagram at @peter_gn and Twitter at @petergadiot to find out!
