Psych: The Movie is almost here, and –- as two fresh video interviews and a new poster illustrate -– the show’s stars are ready to shout about it!
In the videos, leads James Roday (Shawn Spencer) and Dulé Hill (Burton “Gus” Guster) each talk about the movie's origins, returning to the set, and what to expect.
"I love this show, I love the characters, I love this world we've been blessed to create over the years," Hill said in his interview. Returning to the set, he said, "feels like old times ... like muscle memory."
He added: "Some of the ridiculousness we've gotten into has been the best moments of my career."
Roday's interview, meanwhile, was a bit less substantive and a little more playful.
"Hello, I'm Mark Hamill, and I play Luke Skywalker," Roday introduces himself.
USA Network’s hit comedy detective series returns this Dec. 7th for a “two-hour holiday miracle,” set three years after the show's finale. In it, Shawn and Gus -- along with some returning fan-favorite characters –- join forces during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own.
And if the videos aren't enough for you, check out the official Psych: The Movie poster. What other clues can be gleaned from the new image? Has Shawn become particularly passionate about flannel shirts? Will Gus be forced to use Christmas lights in a fist fight? And what does the lime green background indicate –- is Kermit the Frog behind some nefarious scheme?
