On January 18, the world of superheroes will be shattered. M. Night Shyamalan brings together the narratives of two of his standout originals—2000’s Unbreakable, from Touchstone, and 2016’s Split, from Universal—in one explosive, all-new comic-book thriller: Glass.
But if you can’t wait to see the third film in the Eastrail 177 trilogy, be sure to check out a special behind-the-scenes video!
The video sees writer/director Shyamalan and stars Sarah Paulsen, Samuel L. Jackson, and James McAvoy discussing why superhero movies have such immense appeal — and what sets Glass apart.
“We’re gonna tell a story about superheroes, but really lean into the human part of their lives,” says Shyamalan.
“Some people get broken, and they remain broken,” Jackson adds. But the actor says his character is more resilient: “Elijah does become stronger.”
Glass breaks into theaters this January 18th.
