USA Network shared some exciting news: breakout crime drama Dirty John is headed to the channel! The anthology series is moving over to USA from Bravo where it was the highest rated scripted series in the history of the network.
The move aligns Dirty John with USA’s impressive slate of scripted dramas that include the hit legal drama Suits, and the critically acclaimed Mr. Robot and The Sinner.
The first installment of Dirty John, which aired in 2018, told the true story of how a romance between Debra Newell (Connie Britton) and the charismatic John Meehan (Eric Bana) spiraled into secrets, denial, manipulation, and ultimately, a fight for survival for an entire family. Britton (Nashville, Friday Night Lights) received a nomination for "Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television" for her performance. In Season 2, Dirty John will tell a new story when it arrives at its new home on USA!
