Tell us a little about yourself in a few sentences: I like to consider myself to be a modern-day Renaissance Man. I'm an actor, comedian, DJ, motivator, husband, and father of four. Yes, I'm a professional Baby Maker. (See why I have so many jobs?) I love to entertain people and make them laugh. I believe it's a part of my purpose.
What drew me to doing impressions? When I was younger I would always imitate sounds and people that stood out to me. For example, my grandmother would say things like, "Child, you hush yo mouth," in a high-pitched voice. I would mock her right after she said it and my family would laugh hysterically. Then I would watch shows like In Living Color, Saturday Night Live and Mad TV, and I would reenact sketches whenever my mom would miss an episode and she would laugh so hard she cried. Also, when we went to church, I started imitating the different pastors and it kind of became something that I always did. Later on, YouTube was created and I continued doing impressions and comedy spoofs and everyone loved them.
Who was your comedic inspiration? I have a few people who inspire me comedically: Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler, Richard Pryor, Cedric the Entertainer, Jim Carrey, Affion Crockett, Arie Spears, and the entire Wayans family.
Why do you think you’ll be America’s favorite impressionist? I believe I'll be America's favorite impressionist because I don't do the typical impressions, I'm entertaining, and I love to put the people I impersonate in scenarios that you would never imagine; for example Lil Wayne as a daycare teacher.
