Elena Lafé lives with her father, managing a hotel by the sea. One day, Eduardo Girón, a rich young businessman, has an accident nearby with his yacht, and Elena falls madly in love with him. The couple marries and moves into his family’s castle. Elena finds out that his former wife, also called Elena, died in a tragic accident on their wedding day. Screams and moans can be heard from the castle’s tower, terrifying Elena and letting her know she is not welcome there.
