Actor Bio

Willa Fitzgerald stars as Coach Colette French.  A Nashville native, Willa Fitzgerald relocated to New York upon graduating from Yale University. She can currently be seen as Twenty-Year-Old Claire on the latest season of “House of Cards” and opposite Nicole Kidman and Ansel Elgort in the John Crowley-directed film “The Goldfinch,” based on Donna Tartt’s Pulitzer-winning novel. She will also appear in an episode of the upcoming Dolly Parton anthology series. In 2017, Fitzgerald starred in the mini-series “Little Women.” Fitzgerald was previously the lead on “Scream” for three seasons and was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star for her performance. Fitzgerald has also appeared in several independent features including “Blood Money,” “Freak Show” and “Beach House.” She previously recurred on “Alpha House” and “Royal Pains,” and has guest starred on “Bull,” “Gotham,” “The Following,” “Blue Bloods” and most recently, “Law & Order: SVU.” On stage, Fitzgerald starred in “Spacebar: A Broadway Play By Kyle Sugarman,” produced by The Wild Project, “The Cat and The Canary” at the Berkshire Theater Festival, and was featured in “Cow Play” at the New York International Fringe Festival.
