An ambitious political paramour, Nolan Burgess (Adrian Pasdar) lives in the Green Zone of the L.A. bloc and works for the Transitional Authority. When Maddie comes to work as an assistant for his wife, Nolan takes an interest in Maddie, ultimately choosing her over his wife.

Adrian Pasdar plays Nolan Burgess, Maddie's (Amanda Righetti) ambitious politician paramour.

Pasdar has established himself as one of the most versatile actors in the industry today. Taking on challenging roles and projects, he has carved out a diverse career in film, television and on stage. Pasdar has a recurring role on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as the bracingly funny Col. Glenn Tablot and has been voicing the role of Iron Man on four animated series, most notably Avengers Assemble, as well as recurring on the animated Milo Murphy’s Law. Prior, he appeared on The Lying Game as Alec Rybak, USA Network’s Political Animals as the President of the United States, and starred on NBC’s mega-hit show Heroes as Nathan Petrelli. He also stars in the recently released film Coming Through the Rye and the pilot Kingmakers. Other television credits include the hit series Desperate Housewives, Profit, Feds, Judging Amy, and American Playhouse.

Pasdar’s feature films include starring roles in Near Dark, Carlito's Way, Cookie, Just Like a Woman, and Secondhand Lions, alongside Robert Duval and Michael Caine. Additionally, Pasdar wrote and directed the film Cement, starring Jeffrey Wright and the late Christopher Penn. The film collected the Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature at the Houston Worldfest in 2000. On stage, Pasdar co-wrote and co-directed the premiere production of the musical Atlanta at the Geffen Playhouse. Additional theater credits include New York Theater productions of On the Waterfront and the Obie award winning Aven' U Boys.

Pasdar currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Natalie Maines, from the band Dixie Chicks.
