A former Marine who has become critical to the underground Resistance movement that has been growing in Los Angeles after the Arrival, Broussard (Tory Kittles) uses his military training to fight against the Occupation. His ability to forge a key alliance with Katie Bowman and former employees of a tech start-up help him acquire inside information on the Occupation’s movements and investigations, which lead to the ultimate prize: a VIP visit from a RAP. He leads the assault, and they successfully capture the RAP, which brings more attention and pressure on the group than he anticipated. To protect himself, he goes into hiding.
Tory Kittles plays Broussard, a strong voice of reason within the Resistance who understands the psychology of insurgency movements in the struggle to survive.
A NAACP-nominated actor for his work on the television remake of Steel Magnolias, Kittles is also known for his role as Detective Thomas Papania on the award-winning series True Detective and as Laroy Wayne on Sons of Anarchy. Kittles also played Clarence Smith in the Emmy®-winning film Bessie and appeared on the big screen in Man Down, American Heist, Olympus Has Fallen, The Sapphires, The Chameleon, A Perfect Getaway, Miracle at St. Anna, Stop-Loss, Phone Booth, Get Rich or Die Trying, Against the Ropes, Next and Tigerland.
Kittles was born and raised in Lawtey, Florida, a small town south of Jacksonville. While attending college in Orlando, he answered a local newspaper ad for the comedy show Kenan and Kel and thus began his career. Kittles currently resides in Los Angeles.
