We see the deep cracks in the Bowmans’ marriage after Will’s less-than-neighborly performance at their neighborhood party. Katie is angry that he refuses to try to fit in, but Will argues that even with the niceties, they’re still living in a colony.

The old Katie Bowman stirs long enough to wonder why she can’t follow up the family she supposedly placed in an apartment. She travels to visit them and only ends up with more questions.
