Todd takes charge of the household, but his domestic skills could use an overhaul. Check out our guide to Chrisley Knows Best episode 503, “Bunions, Bulldogs and Hedgehogs, Oh My!”
Julie is recovering from bunion surgery so Todd is going to be running the household for a week or two. Todd takes one look at Julie’s to-do list and says “I got this” but he gets a taste of Julie’s everyday struggle when he learns Grayson has volunteered them to look after his friend’s pet hedgehog, and we all know Todd and animals don’t mix. Todd’s also not so handy in the kitchen so breakfast is kind of a mess, and by the time he makes it to folding laundry, his blood pressure is skyrocketing. Who’s got this now, Todd?
Todd calls Chase up from Atlanta for reinforcements, but really, he’s just “delegating” all of his responsibilities to his son so he can get a facial. But Chase goes on strike when Todd refuses to be a gracious host to Lilo, Chase’s French bulldog (and the love of his life). Todd doesn’t think his son has any business even owning a dog; he can barely take care of himself! However, the tables turn when the hedgehog goes missing and Todd must go running to Chase for help. Chase takes advantage of the situation and demands that Todd apologize to Lilo. Seems like Chase has learned a few moves from his dad!
Todd Learns His Lesson
Todd thinks the best course of action will be to buy a new hedgehog and just move on with their lives as if nothing happened, so he, Chase and Lilo head to the pet store. But it turns out hedgehogs aren’t easy to come by. Todd has no choice but to return home and tell Julie what happened, but Julie just laughs -- it turns out Grayson had the hedgehog the whole time. Todd gains a new appreciation for what his wife has to deal with every day, and hey, he even starts to come around on his grand-dog, Lilo!
