Warning: Recap Contains Spoilers
TODD’S PET PEEVE
It’s all hands on deck preparing for Jackson’s big third birthday party, so this is no time for surprises -- like, say, Savannah’s new pet puppy! OMG, Todd is going to flip! Savannah enlists Lindsie to cover for her while she sneaks her new bundle into the house and asks Chase to help her corral the little fur-ball in her bathroom. But Chase isn’t touching this one -- he knows Todd is going to lose it, and for once, he won’t be the cause. Sure enough, the pup escapes and runs rampant through the house, sending Todd into a fit.
CHASE’S REAL ESTATE DEAL
Chase has found the perfect condo and he wants his dad to go 50-50 with him (well, 30-70 when you crunch the numbers), so when Savannah’s dog $#!t hits the fan, Chase decides to milk the situation for all it’s worth. After all, how often can Chase say he’s the good one? Chase invites his dad out for a little Father-Son spa day to help Todd relax (and put him in the buying mood). Of course, Todd smells Chase coming from a mile away, but he’s not one to turn down a massage, especially with the dog situation at home. And it turns out, Chase does good this time; Todd likes the condo and decides to make an offer. But this won’t be a 50-50 split -- Todd plans on being the sole owner so he can evict any deadbeat tenants. That means you, Chase.
SAVANNAH AND TODD MAKE UP
Savannah tries to make amends with her father but when he keeps sending her calls to voicemail (real mature, Todd), she decides to give him a taste of his own medicine and heads back to Nashville without even saying “I love you.” Naturally, Julie has to be the one to point out that Todd is supposed to be the adult in this situation. Todd drives down to Nashville to have a heart-to-heart with his favorite child, and when he learns that Savannah only got the dog because she was lonely, he softens a little. He even starts to think that they should all move down to Nashville to be closer to Savannah! Maybe, Todd. Maybe.
