Dear Chrisley Nation:
I haven’t had a minute to catch my breath because the family and I have been so busy doing the rounds since last week. We went to L.A. (more to come on that!) and now we’re all home and recovering from the trip.
Anyway, I hope everyone DVR’d this week’s episode for posterity because I did something I rarely have to do -- which was apologize.
To be clear, what Savannah did by getting a dog without our input is what upset me the most. That, and she does not know how to clean up after that dirty dog!
Once Savannah explained how she was feeling lonely in Nashville and got Dior to keep herself company, I felt bad about my reaction and so I apologized. But, honestly, Savannah and I have always been so close that to think that she would hide something from us -- especially a big decision like that? That’s what got to me. And as much as I hate the thought of a filthy little rat running around my house and pissing on my rugs, I hate the breakdown of communication with my kids much, much more.
As for Chase, let’s face it. After last week’s tattoo debacle, he needed to have Savannah in the doghouse for a change. He was right that the condo is a good investment -- and that’s exactly why I bought it!
Also, a lot of fans have been asking about the status of Chase’s tattoo removal. First of all, that tattoo is definitely real. So real, in fact, that he’s on treatment 3 of 13. It’s getting a little lighter, but nowhere near gone yet. You can bet that every single one of those treatments is a painful reminder of his stupidity and I hope he never forgets!
Finally, I sincerely want to thank all of you who engaged with us and the show this week. As always, we are so grateful for our fans. Especially with all of the craziness happening in the world right now, we feel so blessed and humbled by the connection we share with you every week.
Talk to you soon,
Todd
