Dear Chrisley Nation:
Well, hello, hello, hello! You didn’t think I was gone for good, did you? We are BACK and I could not be happier than to spend my Tuesday nights with you!
As always, there’s a lot going on in the Chrisley family right now, but I won’t bury the lede. Many of you have asked how Savannah is doing. About a month ago, she had a serious car accident which resulted in a broken vertebrae, plus numerous cuts, bruises, and burns from the airbags. By God’s grace, she is recovering quickly and we are so thankful to all of you who sent an outpouring of love and prayers to the family.
Receiving a phone call late at night that your child has been in an accident is truly the worst feeling in the world, and I pray for anyone who has to go through that. So please hold your loved ones a little tighter today and tell them how much you love them. Go on and do it right now! I’ll wait...
By the Lord's grace and the doctor's blessing, Savannah has been cleared to travel, so she is joining me on a trip to California this week. Today, I’ll be on Access Hollywood Live at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. Then Friday, look for me on Hollywood Today Live at 12 p.m. ET and on Entertainment Tonight’s Facebook Live show at 1:45 p.m. ET/10:45 a.m PT. I expect y’all to be on that Facebook Live and asking lots of questions!
Now, I can’t sign off before we talk a little about the Chrisley Knows Best premiere. Just when I thought I’d been through everything with this family ... ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My mother getting dirty text messages? I’m still having nightmares about that eggplant emoji! I honestly don’t know what’s worse -- my mother stacking up a bunch of dates like she’s the damn Bachelorette? Or my family thinking it’s okay to pimp out Nanny Faye on a dating app!
I guess all I can say is that, at the end of the day, I wouldn’t change this crazy family for anything in the world. Even if they DO give me gray hairs! And, actually, scratch that -- I don’t have any gray hairs … but if I did? They’d be worth every last one of them!
Thank you again for being a part of our lives every week; it means the world to us. Please be safe and God bless. We’ll talk soon.
