Dear Chrisley Nation:
Well, it finally happened.
I am 51 years old and I have never broken a bone in my body and then, just running across my own backyard, I fell and broke my left fibula! Now to be clear, it was a torrential downpour, so it’s not completely my fault...but still.
Let’s just say that Todd Chrisley and pain do not mix. I am getting better but this $#*t is taking forever! But at least you know I’ve been a model patient for Julie and the family. I’m not one to complain! ;)
Now about this week’s episode, there are a couple things I want to point out. One: My mother and her sister should not be allowed to aim anything potentially lethal at anything else EVER. We’re all lucky to be alive. And two: I just loved Julie’s idea to build up Grayson’s confidence for the debate team at the batting cages. Of course, Grayson would be an amazing debater. It’s all that kid does anyway! He just needed the encouragement to go out and own it -- and I’m proud of him (and Julie) for unlocking his confidence this week!
Finally, I just want to say how much your well wishes have meant to me while this dang leg recovers. I am not someone who does well with sitting idly. “Todd Chrisley” and “Shut-In” do not go together! Your messages on social media to me and the family have lifted my spirits in ways you can’t begin to imagine! God bless you and we’ll talk again next week.
