Dear Chrisley Nation:
Who says you can’t teach an old Nanny new tricks?!
Listen, if there’s one Chrisley you can never underestimate, it’s my mother. When that woman has her mind set to do something, she does it, and she doesn’t care what -- or who -- is in her way! I have to give her credit (and Chase too); that woman is ride or die all the way!
Now, speaking of determined Chrisley women, we have some BIG news -- Julie is opening a restaurant! I can’t speak to the specifics just yet, but I can tell you this: this is a dream come true for our family and I can’t WAIT for y’all to try her food in person. Cooking is Julie’s passion and Nashville is the perfect place for her to share it. More details to come on that -- and you know that when it comes to details, I’m all over it…
I could not be more proud of this family. Whether it’s Julie following her dream or my 73-year-old mama (and 5-year-old granddaughter!) learning how to ride a bike, there’s one thing they all have in common: they try their best. At the end of the day, that’s all you can ask of anyone, and believe me -- with the right combination of determination, hard work, and belief in yourself, there’s nothing you can’t achieve. Block out all those voices (in your head or in your everyday life) that say you can’t have what you want or be who you want to be. Get out there and go for it!
To our extended Chrisley family, thank YOU for being a part of this wild ride. We love you and are so blessed to have you in our lives every week.
Until next time,
