Dear Chrisley Nation:
Thank you to everyone who entered our Can You Chrisley? contest! I can’t wait to meet the winner who’s going to come spend the day with us in Nashville!
And speaking of Nashville, this week’s episode is all about our move from ATL to BNA. We LOVE both places and are so lucky to call two of the greatest cities in America our home. Even though we’re still in the process of decorating the Nashville house, it feels cozier and Chrislier everyday! We absolutely love it here.
Of course, the move to Nashville is much easier for me and Julie than for my Grayson. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that he’s only nine-years-old! He misses his friends, school, teams -- and that’s hard for a kid at any age. But we’re excited that he’s found a new hobby inspired by Nashville’s musical surroundings -- SINGING!
God bless Julie who went out of her way to make Grayson’s last week in Atlanta special. And I have to hand it to Savannah. She wasn’t exactly begging to take care of her baby brother, but I think she eventually understood that she’ll thank herself for it later. Honestly, that photo collage she made for Grayson was one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.
But seriously, can we talk about my skills in that giant plastic ball already? How good was I? Now, if we could just get Chase to live in a big plastic bubble, then we wouldn’t have to worry about him making sperm donations all over town!
I thought I was going to die when I watched the doctor explaining to Dumb and Dumber how they’d be making $100 in between their 3-day waiting periods. You could literally see the color draining from their faces. Also, that poor doctor. I swear -- he must’ve thought he was on a prank show with those two.
Listen, I appreciate Chase’s desire to make some money for his grown self (and we all know where his expensive taste comes from!), but not like that. I don’t even want to think about what kind of liability that would cause. Can you imagine walking out of the fertility clinic with a microscopic Chase or Parker in your womb? There’d be lawsuits for lifetimes to come!
So, what can I say? You’re welcome, America. If it weren’t for me and Julie, we’d have a whole new slew of Chases in production right now. Part of me wants to believe that he would have never gone through with it. But then again, here we are on week #5 of tattoo removal!
My favorite thing about watching this week’s episode is the same thing I loved when we were filming it -- going through all of those family photos to pack up for Nashville. I adore seeing my babies in our old photographs so much. When I look at the pictures of them as little kids, it reminds me of how much they’ve accomplished and how proud I am of each and every one of them.
Thanks so much for sharing this journey with us. I especially enjoy our weekly Periscopes! It allows me to reach out and truly interact with the people who’ve become a part of our extended family. Just last night I talked to a fan in Sri Lanka. SRI LANKA!
Now, all you Chrisleys out there need to set that DVR because Nene Leakes and I are on Lip Sync Battle this Thursday and it’s going to be EPIC. I cannot wait for you to see it! ;)
We are taking a short break for hockey or something, but don’t you worry…. we’ll be back on May 10 with plenty more Chrisley moments you WON’T want to miss.
Until then, stay safe and God bless. Talk to you soon.
