Dear Chrisley Nation:
Thank you so much for continuing to send me your positive messages about my broken fibula! I had no idea how difficult this recovery would be. I’ve had surgery with a steel plate and eight screws and, I swear, some days it feels like my leg has its own heartbeat!
Speaking of swears...yes, I have a potty-mouth -- but I think y’all can guess where I get it from! Still, I didn’t understand until I saw this week’s episode, how much I curse without even realizing it. Of course, Julie is right to call it out. I just wish she didn’t have to punish me in such an EXPENSIVE manner!
When you do have a lot of -- shall we say -- enthusiasm, I do think there’s some merit in trying to channel it in a healthy way. By the way, I think we can all agree that I could’ve made a living as a professional cheerleader. ;)
At the end of the day, the important thing was to explain to Chloe that there are certain times in life when adults get upset and say off-color things, but that’s no way for a smart, beautiful little girl to talk. Chloe was right. When you feel frustrated, the best thing you can do is breathe in and breathe out -- and, boy have I been trying to take that advice in the last few weeks. From the mouths of babes!
Listen, folks: next week is the Chrisley Knows Best summer finale. I expect all of my #ToddSquad to be there and ready to party! I thank all of you for your support and being a part of this family’s life. We feel so blessed and look forward to talking with you next week!
