YU HOJIN

Bio

Yu Hojin was first introduced to the world of magic at just 8 years old. Since then, he has focused on turning magic into artistic performances. As an aspiring elementary student, Yu set his heart on competing at the FISM World Championship of Magic. He prepared for five years for the eight-minute performance and received a standing ovation from the audience and the jury. He earned the Grand Prix award and was the first Asian magician to ever win the prize. Yu received the 2013 Magician of the Year award given by the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Yu stands as the only Korean magician to have ever won the award and the youngest magician in the world to have won. He has become one of the youngest magicians to perform at the historic Sydney Opera House and the first Asian magician to perform on Broadway. He hopes to wow viewers and win "America's Got Talent."
