Shaun White Says Nina Dobrev First Date Was Hilarious And Calls Her A 'Lifesaver'

Shaun White may be an Olympic gold medalist, but his ego got checked on his first date with Nina Dobrev. The pair met at an event in Florida and even though he "actually didn't know anything about her" they decided to go to dinner after the event. Nina tried to get the pair a table and his ego got checked when the staff was more excited to meet "The Vampire Diaries" alum than him. "Can we get a photo... with her?" he remembered a waiter asking. "And I was like, 'What's happening? What's going on?' It was actually really funny." Nina and Shaun then began dating in 2019, as their relationship continues to grow, he credits her for being a "lifesaver."
