Synopsis: When June gets a visit from an old partner of Byron's named Ford, Neal's con radar goes off. Ford claims he's back in town for a fresh start but Neal isn't so sure, especially when the team learns that Ford has been meeting with a dangerous ex-cell mate named Jonas Ganz. And when Neal finds a printing plate for an old hundred-dollar bill hidden in June's house, he realizes Ford and Ganz's plan: to print brand new, legal tender.
Ford makes off with the plate before Neal and Peter can stop him, but it doesn't take long for them to catch up with the old ex-con. Ford claims he was simply trying to protect June from Ganz, who would do anything to get his hands on the plate. Neal is willing to give Ford the benefit of the doubt, but Peter worries it's because Neal sees a little of himself in the old con man.
For now, Ford has agreed to help shut down Ganz by bringing Neal into the crew as an expert counterfeiter. At first, the aging con man handles the introduction like a pro. But when Ford flubs one of his lines and they end up on wrong end of the Ganz's gun, Neal worries that he may have put his faith in the wrong man.
