Bobby Lashley
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 273 pounds
From: Colorado Springs, Colo.
Career Highlights: Current ECW World Champion, former WWE United States Champion
The focused, driven Lashley has always been clear about his ultimate goal. He's wrestled his entire life, all with the goal of one day becoming a WWE Superstar. He's a three-time wrestling National Champion and a four-time wrestling All-American. He's also a two-time Armed Forces Champion and took home the silver medal in the 2002 CISM World Championships — competing against the best of the rest of the world's military.
While the mixed martial arts expert quickly proved himself as a champion at the amateur level, he's proven to adjust to the rigors of the WWE just as well. Lashley debuted in September of 2005 and, in a short period of time, found himself the WWE United States Champion on SmackDown and now the ECW World Champion and standard bearer of SCI FI's Tuesday night ECW show. Though soft-spoken outside of the ring, Lashley's ferocity and power have made him a top performer in WWE.
In addition to his athletic exploits, Lashley excelled academically and holds a Degree in Business from Missouri Valley College. His social awareness has made him a key participant in WWE's Make-A-Wish, Get R.E.A.L. (Respect, Education, Achievement, Leadership), Tribute to the Troops, and SmackDown Your Vote initiatives.
