Vijay Singh

Vijay Singh entered the season No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings and produced four victories and 18 Top-10 finishes. His 18 Top-10s matched a career high, posted in 2003 and 2004. Sing was named an inductee into the World Golf Hall of Fame and will be inducted this fall.

Singh learned the game from his father, an airplane technician who taught the sport in his free time. He has won two of the four major tournaments and titles just about everywhere in the golfing world including Malaysia, France, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Singapore, Spain, Germany, England, South Africa, Sweden, Taiwan and Canada.

Of Indian ancestry, his first name means "victory" in Hindi and he certainly lives up to his name. Vijay Singh is a winner, a true champion and is respected throughout the world of golf as one of the greats of the current era.
