Sean Patrick Flanery

Sean Patrick Flanery guest stars as Greg Stillson in the sixth season of the USA Network original series THE DEAD ZONE, which premieres Sunday, June 17 at 10:00PM/9:00 Central.

Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and raised in Houston, Flanery attended the University of St. Thomas to study for a business degree.  While there, he began doing theater and discovered his passion for acting.  Upon graduation, Flanery relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his career and, within a year, he began working in film and television.

Flanery was first discovered by audiences as the title character in George Lucas' acclaimed ABC television series "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles."  Flanery, who was handpicked out of thousands of actors to star as the young adventurer, traveled all over the world to shoot the series, which continues to be hugely successful overseas.  Flanery also starred in Joel Silver's drama "The Strip," as well as Showtime's Emmy®-Award winning film "Run the Wild Fields."  Most recently, he guest-starred in an episode of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

Flanery received rave reviews for his compelling and insightful performance as "Powder" in the Hollywood Pictures' fantasy drama of the same name.  He starred in New Line's ensemble drama "Body Shots" and was also seen opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in Mark Tarlov's romantic comedy "Simply Irresistible" for 20th Century Fox.  His other film credits include Live Entertainment's "Suicide Kings" with Jay Mohr and Christopher Walken, "The Grass Harp," "Frank and Jesse" and "Best Men" opposite Drew Barrymore.  He also appeared in the suspense thriller "D-Tox" starring Sylvester Stallone for Imagine Entertainment and Universal Pictures.

Flanery, who also races cars, resides in Los Angeles.
