Sarah Bannerman

Sarah Bannerman (Nicole deBoer) has known Johnny since childhood. They worked as teachers at the same high school, and became engaged just before Johnny's accident. After Johnny's car crash, Sarah was told he would never recover, so eventually she decided to move on with her life. She married County Sherriff Walt Bannerman and the two of them raised Johnny's son, J.J, until Walt's death in a fire at Purdy's church. After this tragedy, Sarah found herself grappling with her lingering feelings for Johnny, as well as preparing for the arrival of a new child.
