SEASON 6 INSIGHTS

It's official! The Dead Zone Season 6 is underway!

In fact, Lloyd Segan and myself just left our USA Network meeting where we brainstormed some creative ideas. We pitched them a bunch of things, they pitched us a bunch of things, and I think we have a very strong meeting of the minds on a very exciting direction for the series.

I'd say the key phrase to launch us next year is: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

I'd like to give special thanks to Jeff Wachtel, Jackie de Crinis, Lindsay Sloane and Bonnie Hammer for believing in the show and rewarding the fans -- as well as the people that make the show -- with another season. We have such a blast doing it and now we get to do it for at least another season ... and, hopefully, many more to come.

We have a very ambitious and exciting direction for the series that we believe will thrill our returning fans and has the potential for really building on a new audience. I don't want to give anything away, so I'll just say we're really excited about this new season and the opportunity to explore some really strong, personal character work for Johnny.

Look for the Season 5 DVDs to be released next spring and expect episode one of Season 6 of The Dead Zone to be airing in June 2007.

Look forward to seeing you -- again -- on Sunday nights at 10pm!
