Hey, TDZ Fans:
I hope you enjoyed our "Independence Day" episode before heading off to enjoy your own Fourth of July celebration ... but don't forget to set aside some time on Sunday night at 10 p.m. ET to watch another new episode of The Dead Zone! We're airing back-to-back new episodes for you all summer -- right through to the season's end.
"Panic" is the name of the episode that will air on July 2 and, again, Adam Targum is the writer. In this episode, Johnny, JJ and a neighborhood teen are trapped in Johnny's house, trying to elude a couple of very nefarious characters intent on killing them.
This is an intense, edge-of-your-seat episode that has some great action, as well as some startling revelations about Johnny's family history.
In fact, "Panic" marks the third TDZ episode that centers on Johnny's house being the source of visions from his family's past. Be sure to go through your Dead Zone DVD archives and re-watch Season Four's "Babble On" (also written by Adam Targum, our resident expert on Johnny's residence) and Season One's "The House" (story by Shawn & Michael Piller, teleplay by Michael).
Our guest stars -- everyone from Dustin Milligan, who plays the teenager, Kevin Durand and Chris Heyerdahl, who play our bad guys, to Eric Breker, who plays Johnny's grandfather -- they all did a great job.
I hope you enjoy their performances, as well as the great production values our team up in Vancouver has consistently been able to bring to our show.
In the meantime, be safe out there this holiday weekend!
See you again this Sunday, July 2 at 10/9C.
