Garret Dillahunt stars as Matthew Ross in the third season of the USA Network original series THE 4400.
Dillahunt was born and raised in Washington State and studied journalism at the University of Washington. He went on to study acting at New York University's graduate acting program, Tisch School of the Arts.
Dillahunt is probably best known for his work on the critically acclaimed "Deadwood," where he has portrayed not one but two characters, Jack McCall and Francis Wolcott. His television credits also include a series regular role on the comedy "A Minute With Stan Hooper" starring Norm McDonald as well as notable guest appearances on "Law & Order"," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "NYPD Blue" and "The X-Files." In addition, to a recurring role on NBC's "ER," Dillahunt most recently starred as Jesus Christ in NBC's limited series "The Book of Daniel."
Last summer, Dillahunt was busy filming the feature "The Assassination of Jesse James" in which he starred opposite Brad Pitt. The highly anticipated film will hit theatres in 2006. He also appeared in the independent feature films "The Believer" and "Last Call," among others. Dillahunt has also been seen on Broadway in "Inherit the Wind" and "The Father."
