All my friends took it, saying "Why should the 4400 be so special?", but I had only thought about it. Realizing I was living a very ordinary life, I took it the next day.

My abilities didn't start as fast as I had expected. I started noticing that when my emotions ran high, electrical outages occurred throughout the city. I later found out that I could manipulate electricity in anything that has it (including people). I made my teacher give me an "A" on my test by sending electric messages through his nervous system and into his brain. I made it so I could pass through solid objects by rearranging the neurons in my body. I could teleport through the electronic fields in the air so that I could be virtually anywhere in under a second. My abilities were amazing! I never wanted to live without them, until...

I was in the shower, and I had touched the metal railing on the side causing the whole state to have a blackout (I should have listened in science... water and metal conduct electricity!). Electricity was surging through my body. I felt like I was being hit with lightning over and over and over again with no end! I woke up a week later in a hospital bed and I couldn't see anything. I had gone blind! The doctor said that I had 4th degree burns down my back near my spinal cord that looked as though I was whipped with fire. He said I had more than 100 watts running through my nervous system but I still had my powers. In fact, my powers were now stronger, causing me more potential danger. My mom told me that the house had burned down. My advice to everyone: Promicin is NOT safe! It's NOT worth it! It's ok to just be YOU!
