FOR THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 10, 2007

Joey Y. Hi, my name is Joey, I'm 20, studying BA Interpreting and Translation in Sydney, Australia.I first saw the 4400 while I was still in Hong Kong, in 2004, and I became attracted to the show. To me, the 4400 is not just an action packed science fiction, it gives us a lesson to the fundamental human question, what will we do if we were given a gift? n the 4400, the gift is the promicin, and how this yellowish, glowing chemical substance can shows the bright and dark side of human ethics, and ambition. I think its a lesson all of us should learn. To me, I would think promicin, like any gifts given, could be greatly beneficial, if we use it wisely. I have a passion for language, because language is not just only a string of diction, it's the bridgeway to mutual understanding, to cultures, and to resolve conflicts. So naturally, I would love to have the ability to able to speak different languages, because I aim to work in the UN as an interpreter, so I am able to provide the bridgeway for the world to understand, to resolve, to able to make a more peaceful world, because I believe the sound of humanity can be more powerful than the sound of a gun. Think you deserve the honor of "The 4400 Fan of the Week"? Email Webmaster@USANetwork.com your credentials and tell us what ability you'd want if you were a 4400. Include your name and a photo of yourself, and we may feature you right here on the official site! |
