I got into the 4400 during its second season. I watched the network’s marathon of season one and the 4400 became my show. At work, I have the screensaver and wallpaper on my office computer, which often creates conversation. Just today I learned one of my colleagues also watches the show. The show’s tag, “Taken for a reason. Returned for a purpose” is why I love the 4400. I like the concept of each 4400 knowing their specific purpose – ability – that they are to contribute to society.

If I were a 4400 the ability I would want is life purpose manipulation. My ability would show people their purpose for being in the world. Their visions through my ability would show how they are designed to contribute in society. An individual’s greater good life work and the steps to manifest it would be revealed. Every person that experiences a vision would see themselves doing something that they connected with innately.

I feel this ability would help humanity in two ways; it would decrease the amount of dissatisfaction some people feel in their lives because this would be their opportunity to quickly connect to their purpose instead of searching for it through trial and error, which sometimes results in multiple disappointments. Secondly, it would help others to heal from emotional and mental barriers and hurts. The feeling the person experienced in their vision would be so desirable that they would embrace change and release lamenting over past emotional mental wounds to do accomplish their life purpose.
