Q: You were in Taken and now The 4400, so I was wondering, do you actually believe in UFOs? Have you ever seen one?
- Joan Alatariel, Holladay, Utah
JG: I have never seen one myself, but would love to if the opportunity comes my way. In the movie "Contact" Jodie Foster says, "It would be an incredible waste of space if there wasn't any life out there." I believe that too. It's a bit narcissistic to think that we are the only ones here.
Q: Do you ever worry about being typecast as an actor who does "sci-fi conspiracy shows" since you've had high-profile roles in both The 4400 & Taken?
- Marco, Fairmount, Indiana
JG: No, I played two completely different characters in these projects. I like the characters in both, and that is what drove me to the projects. As for what other people think, I have no control over that.
Q: Are you working on any more movies right now?
- Laura, Texas
JG: As of right now, I just finished "The 4400" and am enjoying being home with my family. I will be taking meetings soon, so hopefully I'll be doing a film in our off-season.
Q: What, for you, is the hardest thing about acting?
- Tesa, Gatlinburg, Tennessee
JG: Trusting myself and following through with my impulses. Sometimes you question yourself, and we all do one time or another, but in that moment, that particular moment has passed. So, the challenge is to be completely emotionally available at all times.
Q: Do you have enough time in your personal life for your family and friends with such a busy career?
- Roberta Tucker, Ohio
JG: That is the most difficult part of what I do. It's hard to be away from the ones you love. One of the good things about "The 4400" is that we film 13 episodes in a season. That's a little over five months a year. Even though it's very concentrated in that five months and flying home for weekends can be difficult, it is only five months, and then I'm home.
